What do balloons, marshmallows and noodles have in common?  2nd graders!! The 2nd graders in Ms. Jones class are working on building free standing structures out of some "out of the box" materials.  Who made the tallest structure?

Our first graders also participated in exploring with gingerbread treats!  Using nontraditional materials to build structures is a great way to expand on student creativity!

What is better than exploring and creating with delicious treats?  The second graders in Mrs. Doull's class got to do just that with creating gingerbread houses! There were so many different and successful approaches to creating a free standing structure (and no bite marks!).

Students in Mrs. Cashion's class created scarecrows at home with their families.  They returned to school to share their creations and write about them in class.
