Meet the Principal

Mrs. Lord has been with Victor Elementary School District for the past 22 years. She began with the district as a substitute teacher for about a year before becoming a teacher at Puesta del Sol for 11 years. She continued teaching at Village for two years and then moved to West Palms Conservatory for 9 years. During her years as a teacher she taught 5th and 6th grade at Puesta del Sol and 6th grade at both Village and West Palms. Mrs. Lord then made the transition to becoming principal at Village. She says as an administrator she hopes to have a positive impact, while being able to support staff and the families at Village.
Mrs. Lord attended Moscow High School in Idaho and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Neurophysiology. She began working in labs to develop toys for toddlers that were psychological correct. However, she realized she did not want to be in a lab all day. As she started working at a science school in Orange County where she taught and realized she liked working with children. She then went to Chapman to get her teaching credential and to begin her career in education as a teacher. In Mrs. Lord’s spare time she likes spend time with her family, travel, and being outdoors.
